Welcome to the new National Gallery of Contemporary Art Wales.... or at least this will have to do until Wales actually builds one!
The NGOCAW might be miniature in its size, but big in its ideas. Providing modern exhibition facilities within a ‘building’ that is the best in modern Welsh architecture whilst designed to travel and inhabit different venues across Wales.
The National Gallery of contemporary Art Wales was unveiled on Saturday 4th August as a part of the elysium gallery led Beep Painting Biennial citywide painting events. Its next appearance will be the end of September as a part of the Now the Hero series of fringe events under the banner Now for More.
The gallery is still under construction and will develop over its many future exhibitions. If you think big but work small then please do send your proposals to firstname.lastname@example.org
A big thank you to Will Thomas who has designed and built this marvel of modern architecture!
